2005 AABC 9 yr old World Series July 28th - 31st All-Star Sports Complex, Tulsa, Oklahoma

Congratulations on a outstanding season and welcome to the AABC, 9 yr old World Series. Your tournament host will be Oklahoma AABC and it will be our goal to create an experience that the players and families will remember for a lifetime. The tournament will be played at All-Star in Tulsa , Oklahoma July 26th - 30th.

The AABC Baseball program will use the "Pool - Play" format in this Regional Teams will be placed in the pools, then advance to either a double elimination championship bracket or a single elimination consolation bracket. The exact format of the tournament, number of pools, number of teams in each pool will be set by the Tournament Director following AABC Baseball guidelines.

The Roster we receive must be signed by the league director and include the names of the bonus players. Players will be individually checked in at each tournament with proper AABC ID or Birth Certificates in hand.

All players participating in a AABC Tournament play shall have photocopies of their original birth certificates in the possession of their team manager. Teams must have proof of Insurance that meet the requirements of AABC and have three scorebooks verifying that each player played in at least three league games or the State Tournament.


Note:

1. Any player who before MAY 1ST reaches their 10th birthday shall not be eligible to play.

2. Any player can play in a higher age division but cannot play in a lower age division.

3. All players must be fully uniformed, which includes the following: Pants, socks, cap, and team shirt with numbers that are noon-duplication and at least three (3) inches in height.

4. Managers and coaches must wear a baseball cap with the team insignia and will be properly dressed. (No tank tops or flip-flops)
Coaches can were coaches shorts.

5. While in the field, as a defensive player, team caps must be worn (in proper fashion)

6. Metal spikes are prohibited in age groups 8 - 12.

7. A full - use batting helmet which covers the top and back of the head and both sides of the face must be worn by every player while in the on-deck circle, when at bat and while on the bases.

8. All bat boy\girls will wear full - use batting helmets when their team is at bat.

9. The catcher must wear protective gear: mask, chest protector, shin guards, protective cup, and catcher's helmet and throat protector. Ages 8-12; Catcher's must wear helmet that fully covers their ears.

10. The AABC Handbook and the Sporting News Rules shall govern all playing rules not specifically covered above for Major League Baseball.

All-Star Sports Complex will be the host for the tournament.

Admission during the tournament will be $7.00 per person per day or $25.00 for a tournament pass. For children (6-12) or senior citizens the charge will be $3.00 per day or $12.00 for a tournament pass. Coaches will be issued a maximum of three (3) passes per team. PASSES MUST BE PRESENTED TO GAIN ADMITTANCE TO THE PARK, NO EXCEPTIONS! ONLY THREE COACHES WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE FIELD WITH THE TEAM, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Any player, coach or parent ejected from the game will pay $100 before the team plays the next scheduled game. If they are ejected the second time, they will not be permitted on the grounds of All-Star during the remainder of the Tournament.

No Noisemakers allowed

Teams will check in July 25th: There will be a mandatory coaches meeting at 6:00 pm at Bell's Amusement Park, 3901 East 21st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Opening Ceremonies will consist of free admission for coaches and players (in team shirts and hats). Admission for all others will be $5.00 per person.
Coaches meeting (check in paperwork, discuss tournament rules, and drawing pool/brackets) will take place while the kids are being kids.
