WELCOME TO AABC
of OKLAHOMA.
* 2009 *
American Amateur Baseball
Congress (AABC) is the largest amateur baseball organization in
the United States for players above junior baseball age and the only amateur
baseball program, which provides progressive and continuous organized
competition - sub teens through adults. It is coordinated with other programs
through USA Baseball and the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Founded in 1935, it is now composed of seven (7)
different age divisions in the states, Puerto Rico and Canada. Play is
also conducted in four (4) single age divisions; 9's, 11,s, 13's and 15's.
The American Amateur Baseball Congress operates
under a league concept as opposed to an all star concept. A league is
composed of at least three (3) teams playing a minimum of six (6) league
games. The winner of each league advances on to state tournament play.
The winner from the state tournament advances on to regional play and
from there to the world series.

Congratulations to all the 2008 Regional, State and World
Series Champions and to those participating teams who always make these
events tough but rewarding to get through. The 2009 season is just around
the corner. Notable changes made back in 2006 are AABC
14 yr. old teams will now play 60' - 90'
for state, regional and world series. 13 yr. old will stay at 54'/80.
This is becoming ever more popular across the nation and should really
give those kids that play 60'/90' a good head start for high school play.
The other change effective in 2006 for 14 yr. old
teams is players must use the -3 bats.
This is another change that not only will add some safety to the games
but will help the kids out when they reach the high school level. AABC
will also offer a 17 yr. OLD WORLD
SERIES. We are currently updating the 2007 state, regional, and
world series dates and locations as we get them. Click on the link(s)
above left for further info. - check back if not yet updated- Thanks.
