WELCOME TO O'BRIEN BASEBALL. We would like to thank all the coaches, players and parents for making the 2007 seasons another great success. O'Brien continues to grow as more and more parents realize their players can only get better by playing the top competition in the area that O'Brien Baseball League offers. With the recent innovation of several watered down divisions of play in youth baseball and youth parks, many parents and coaches are realizing the direction the serious high school hopeful athletes need to take to improve and be challenged.

O'brien Park Youth Baseball offers competitive baseball leagues for those who are serious about preparing their athletes to play at the high school level and beyond. We are the only park that offers T-ball thru college age competitive leagues in the Tulsa area. We are in personal contact and work with the majority of area high school coaches as well as many college coaches and pro scouts. Our goal is to see 'em come in as bouncy T-ballers and walk out as college players/graduates with a lot of character, ready for lifes challenges. Your team will play on some of the nicest, greenest fields in the area as well. Currently we have 4 youth fields and 2 large high school/college fields with 4 brand new youth fields under construction. O'briens philosophy is basically just build as good a team as you can and play against the best competition you can. We realize that in this day and time many other parks, leagues and teams shy away from being challenged only to have the kids pay the price at the high school level. Competitive spring, summer and fall leagues are offered for youth, high school and college ages. All of those who participate at O'brien are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and sportsman like manner. We are very fortunate to have many fine teams in all of our age groups and are always open to adding and helping other teams who would like to join O'brien and whose' priority is skills advancement of the kids and not just the trophies, silly points chase, etc. Please feel free to CONTACT US anytime for further information.

STARTS: AUGUST 16 - 17 WEEKEND - All teams play "up" one year.
AGE: T-Ball thru High School ages.
NOTES:
HIGH SCHOOL AGE - 8 games / 8 weeks -one game either on a sat. or sun. Will have Varsity and Junior Varsity divisions if possible. JV teams may play in the varsity division if they so choose.

YOUTH AGES: T-ball thru - 14yr. - 8 games / within 8 or less weeks, some double headers possible.

Team Entry Fee's for 2008 spring league play at OBRIEN INCLUDE TEAM INSURANCE, MEDICAL & UMPIRES. PLUS Registration fees to Super Series, AABC and CABA. When comparing entry fees make sure you are comparing apples to apples - don't get short changed or surprised.

2008 O'BRIEN YOUTH SPRING BASEBALL LEAGUE.
O'brien Youth Spring Baseball League is offered to those with t-ball thru 14yr. old competitve teams. Each year our first spring league coaches meeting is usually sometime in October with 2-3 more meeting held thereafter. Though we realize there will be variences of talent within our league we openly invite any team looking to step up in competition for the benifit of their athletes furture or just looking to change leagues. Obrien doesn't neccesarily participate in the "classification" of teams but rather encourages teams to just put their teams together according to their teams idealology and goals, check your egos at the gate and play the best competition you can throughout a given season. New teams that come into O'brien each year always surprise themselves by the end of each season as to how much better their kids are individually and as a team. Many of our current teams came about just that way. We are always glad to help our teams as much as we can with finding players,tournaments, state and world series play, etc. To join O'brien or just to inquire about the league feel free to CONTACT US anytime.

2008 "DIAMOND LEAGUE O'BRIEN" SUMMER LEAGUE.

NOW EXCEPTING TEAMS FOR 2008 !!
It's never too early to make plans for "Diamond League - O'brien" summer league. Our team spots usually fill up fast. Diamond League uses "wood bats" for the 13yr. thru high school age teams. Our 13yr. - 14yr. old summer teams step out of "little league" play and step it up to 60/90' in preperation for high school and our summer 13yr. olds have the option of playing 60'/90' or 54'/90, also in preperation for high school. This is becoming a popular division for many pre-high school players. Depending on the exact break down of teams, we usually have 13-14yr., Junior Varsity and Varsity divisions. Last summer games were played at O'brien Park, Collinsville and Skiatook high school fields. "Diamond League-O'brien" is affiliated with "Diamond League -Tulsa" which plays games at Owasso, Jenks, Broken Arrow, Union, Claremore, and Coweta high school varsity fields. The Diamond League summer programs, which had over 50 teams participate last summer, is considered among the, if not the top high school summer league in the state. Many Diamond League teams are at the top end of their respective classifications in the high school spring league Oklahoma State Championships.
